The First Snow of the Year.
This is me drinking tea and eating oatmel after noon during the first snow of the year.
Life is alright here in New York. Despite being cold. Oh so cold.
We had E's (did I already compromise her identity... probably) 3rd birthday party last week. I gave her some bathtub markers (which she used on the fridge) and birthday balloon (that was more popular). It was a fun day.
I also bought her a book on Overstock ...along with two pairs of shoes for myself... that came yesterday. "The Monster at the End of this Book" (starring furry, lovable, old Grover) which we read approximately 20 times last night. I think she likes the theatrics.
Baby L is also getting bigger. She verbally laughs at "raspberries" (between that and E's pratfalls we may have some comedians on our hands). L spends most of her time making hilarious noises and chewing on her hands. Good past times. And I feel like I'm handling the girls a little easier. Stand my ground a little better in negotiations, figure out what is upsetting the baby, have a little more say in the order of the day.
My voice lessons are going pretty well (though we cancelled for today). And my friend Aaron is coaching me on some new monologues. During January, February, and even March my schedule will be more flexible and hopefully I will do a lot of auditioning.
CELEBRITY SITING: I saw Diane Wiest (of Law and Order and Edward Scissorhands and... I don't know she's wonderful) in the Barnes and Noble near Lincoln Center on Friday. I had the baby strapped to me and passed by her in the cooking section. It was exciting.
Today Hannah and I are going iceskating in Bryant Park (yipee!) and then Christmas shopping!
My images aren't loading. I'll have to come back and fix it. Boo.
