Its a Brand New Me!

Well, it looks like it is time once again for me to post so that everyone knows (in a few weeks or so when they get around to checking again) that this website is not dead. Its only mostly dead. (Princess Bride reference...somebody help me out out there).
First things first. At the beginning of March I moved into a new apartment. As shown below.



Hoorah.

We're on the (very) top right. It is close if somewhat inconveinent to my old apartment. I'm still in Astoria. Living with two girls I found straight off Craigslist. And Grace's two cats. Jasper (pictured) who looks just like a thin kitten version of Sid. And Rory who prefers to lurk.



The apartment is really cute and I'm happy (and extremely relieved) to be here.



Last weekend my friend Julie came to visit. Julie and I worked/lived in Florida together and visit each other once a year (she's in Chicago) and are otherwise attached at the cellphone. I took Julie to work for take-your-perfectly-good-friend-who-is-on-vacation-and-does-not-want-to-spend-five-hours-babysitting to workday. She was a good sport. And it was the time of Elena's life. I was immediately displaced and Julie got to listen to Elena "read" and watch "tricks" and take trips to the potty.
We had a really good weekend. We went to the Awesome Eighties Prom interactive show/dance party with my friends Hannah and Chalin. We karaoked. We ate cupcakes. Our bases were covered.
