New Season, New Haircut

The winds of change are a-blowin'. Its chilly. But at least if finally feels like fall.
I have a new job. H&M & I have parted ways. I am now a nanny for two little girls (2 and a half and 2 months) in Sunnyside, Queens. I walk to work every morning, go to the park and The Grind (a coffee shop) regularly, have watched the same episode of Scooby Doo at least 10 times in my tenure, and am MUCH happier. They are a Greek family and the mom is an opera singer at the Met. She is going to give me voice lessons starting next month. Hooray!

I went to San Diego and LAS VEGAS with my cousin, Amanda at the end of last month. Here we are wearing sequined ballcaps and then at the Irish Pub in New York, New York casino which was just like home to me. Except for the real Irish music and the clogger.

In other news (celebrity sitings) I saw Matt Dillon check himself in the mirror at H&M (he looked reeaaal good) and Stephen Tyler walking through Sheep's Meadow at Central Park on Labor Day! All's well in New York City.

I had given up on The Only Living Girl in New York -- so I'm FOUR days late reading this!

The hair looks great!

I like the new haircut, too! Of course, you are beautiful, whatever you do with your hair. But, I like it longer, like this.

Sorry I don't check blogs very often, unless it is Lisette's. Something about working all day at the computer makes it hard for me to relax at the computer.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time visiting Amanda.

Love you! Aunt Debi
